We were married on November 3rd, 2007. Rick was honestly the best DJ I've heard for a wedding or any occasion for that matter, and I've been involved/attended MANY weddings. (Been in 4 and attended 9 in the past year) He really took the time to understand what we as a couple wanted to happen at our reception and made sure it turned out the way we both had planned and hoped. He kept everyone dancing all night, from kids to the grandparents, not a single person was left sitting at the table waiting for something to come on that they could move to. His professionalism and high standards that he sets for himself are out of this world and he really achieved all of the hopes we had for the reception. He really focused on keeping the wedding about us, our family and friends and not about his DJ show which I was really pleased with. He was only on the microphone when necessary (announcing the important events and what not) a lot of DJ's are making it their show going "look at me! I am the DJ!" and Rick most certainly didn't do anything like that. I felt like he put his best foot forward in everything he did to really make it fit our wedding and I'm sure he would do the same with yours. Rick's laid back personality allowed us to tell him what we wanted to hear and see, it wasn't about what he wanted to do, it was all about the newlyweds!

Horizon’s DJ and Karaoke services are a great way to get your party started!

Being in charge of many school functions, I need to hire reputable contractors that still enable the kids to have fun. Horizon’s DJ service has exceeded my expectations many times over!

They call ahead of time to ensure the theme of the event, supply lighting effects and always play appropriate music. It is so nice not worrying about what the DJ will be playing or saying, especially when there are kids involved! Rick understands the needs of the event and will place the highest priority to keep the kids dancing and under control.

This letter is in regards to Rick Pate and Horizon Entertainment. Over the past two years my school has had the opportunity to hire Rick to DJ our School Holiday Party and Retirement Party. He did a fantastic job! He was extremely professional and eager to accommodate us in any possible way he could to make our parties more entertaining. I would highly recommend Rick and Horizon for any entertainment function. Many of the teachers even mentioned it was the best time they have had a staff party.
